Payment Questions

I've previously purchased a Swearnet video download. Where do I find my previous purchases?

All previous payments are listed on the order history page. You should have also received a “Receipt for purchase from SwearNet” confirmation email. If you would like this email resent, use the "Resend confirmation email" link on the order history page.

I went to purchase videos and entered my credit card information, but something got cocked and I haven’t received a fucking confirmation email?!

  • Please make sure you are signing in with same email or facebook account that you used when you made the payment. We've found that some members have made typos or have used a secondary email address. If you require further assistance, you can contact support and we'll try to correct your problem.
  • Are you sure you completed your purchase fully and correctly? You can visit the billing info page to verify the status of your purchase. Any purchases marked pending/incomplete are still being processed. Normally, you won't get a confirmation email until after your payment is fully processed.
  • If you would like your confirmation resent, use the "Resend confirmation email" link (column on the far right) on your order history page and follow the instructions.
  • Check your junk folder to make sure the email isn’t in there. We’re not calling you fucking dumb but this sometimes is all that’s wrong. The confirmation email has a subject of “Receipt for purchase from SwearNet” from [email protected].
  • Lastly, if you've tried all the suggestions above and you're still having problems, go Get Some Fucking Help and tell us about your issue. Our customer support team will be contacted and help you out.

I received a confirmation email for my download purchase, but my order history page still shows it as pending or incomplete. What can I do?

You can contact support and we'll try to correct the issue. It will appreciated and much quicker to resolve your issue if you include your Transaction ID.

Technical Questions

How do I watch an episode or movie downloaded from Swearnet on my TV?

Smart TVs

Most Smart TVs have a USB port and the capability to play MP4 movies via the USB port. Before you begin, ensure that your model is capable of playing video via the USB port.

Once you've downloaded video(s) to your computer, transfer the file(s) to a USB device, such as a thumb-drive or external drive. Plug the USB device into your computer and copy the video onto the device. After the transfer is complete, eject the device and plug it into the USB port of your TV. Consult your Smart TV User Manual for instructions on how to play videos.

Blu-ray & DVD Players

Most Blu-ray players and some DVD players have USB ports. If your Blu-ray has USB capability, you can use it to watch media downloaded from Swearnet. After you have downloaded video(s) to your computer, transfer the file(s) to a USB device, such as a thumb-drive or external drive. Plug the USB device into your computer and copy the video onto the device. After the transfer is complete, eject the device and plug it into the USB port of your Blu-ray player.

Apple TV

Streaming SwearNet movie files from iTunes to your Apple TV
  • Download the movie's MP4 video file(s) to your computer.
  • Once the download completes, drag and drop the video file into iTunes.
  • When iTunes completes the import, the video will appear under the "Home Movies" section of the Movies tab.
  • Connect your computer to your Apple TV via Home Sharing.
  • Locate the file on your Apple TV under “Computers”, hit play and enjoy.
Watching SwearNet movie files on your iPod, iPad or iPhone
  • Download the movie's MP4 video file(s) to your computer
  • Once the download completes, drag and drop the video file into iTunes
  • When iTunes completes the import, the video will appear under the "Home Movies" section of the Movies tab
  • Connect your device to your computer and allow it to connect with iTunes
  • Click on your device to open up the Device's menu within iTunes
  • Click on the "Movies" section within the Device menu on iTunes
  • Ensure that "Sync Movies" is checked and select the Movie(s) you wish to transfer to your device (alternatively, the "Automatically include" feature can be checked)
  • Sync your device and the video(s) will transferred
  • The vidoes will appear in the Videos app on the device

XBOX 360

Once you have downloaded the movie to your computer, there a few different ways to get it playing on your Xbox 360.

Using a USB device (flash drive, thumb drive)
  • Using a flash drive with enough capacity to store the video(s), transfer the files onto the Flash drive.
  • Plug the drive in a USB port on the Xbox and navigate to the “TV & Movies” section.
  • Select the storage device (your flash drive) and play right from there.

Stream to an Xbox 360 from a Apple computer

On a Mac, there are no native applications that stream to an Xbox, so you will need to download a third party program. We recommend Plex Media Server, which is relatively easy to use:

  • Download & install Plex Media Server and run it.
  • Select the folder with the downloaded movie and share it with your Xbox 360.
  • Navigate to "TV & Movies" section on the Xbox.
  • The folder will appear under the system video player page as “Plex Media Server”.
  • Locate the video and hit 'PLAY'

PS3

Once you have downloaded the movie to your computer, there a few different ways to play it through your PS3:

USB Flash Drive
  • Using a flash drive with enough capacity to store the video(s), transfer the files onto the Flash drive.
  • Plug the drive in a USB port on your PS3 and navigate to the “Videos” section.
  • Select the storage device (your flash drive), select the video and play directly from the flash drive, or transfer the file to your PS3’s internal hard drive.
Stream to a PS3 from a Apple computer
